Aurora shines on display across Britain on New Year’s Day
The first day of 2025 has brought a spectacular display of the Northern Lights across the UK.
The bright colors of the aurora were visible from northern Scotland to southern Wales after a powerful solar storm.
With activity on the Sun recently peaking, there should be more opportunities to catch auroras throughout 2025.
