At moment three Israeli hostages handed over to Red Cross in Gaza
Three more Israeli hostages have been issued by Hamas and handed over to Red Cross during the highly choreographed scenes in Gaza’s Deer Al-Bala region.
During the October 7 attacks, Eli Shabi, Ohad Ben Ami and Levi were all taken captive and held in Gaza for 16 months.
In turn, Israel has started releasing some 180 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.
The release is taking place as part of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas which came into force on 19 January.
