Amy Alan became the first woman to win the best lyricist Grammy


You must not have heard the first woman about being named Best Lyricist Named in Gramies – but you may be well sung with a hit of her.
Amy is behind a string of Amy Ellen Pop Chart-Toppers, including the Espresso and Please please please pleas of Sabrina Carpenter, and was also nominated for co-written tracks with Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake and Tate Macker.
In the third year, Alan was one of the four women enrolled for non-classical, lyricist, as it was launched as a standalone category.
In his acceptance speech, he highlighted the earlier lack of recognition for lyricists, saying: “There would be no songs to win the award for anyone, without us.”
He was earlier nominated for the same award in 2023, its inauguration year.
While she did not win, she took her first Grammy home for her work at Harry Styles’ Harry House, who won the year album.

Ellen, a singer, who released his first album last September entered the music world at the age of eight – rang the bass in his sister’s band.
She stayed in the band till the high school and then went to the nursing school before deciding to change the syllabus and joining the Barkli School of Music. His first project was in the form of Amy and Engine, and he was a support for singers such as KC Musgravs and Vance Joy.
Alan’s first hit for another artist was when he sent Selena Gomez’s back to you – some he said that he “inspired” his career in pop song -nighting. Then he added to writing My Mind and Me with Gomez, nominated for the best original song Oscar in 2023.
