The police continue to search for the people involved in the deadly shooting of a 16 -year -old boy in South London.

The Metropolitan police said the teenager died after being shot in a “heavy shocking incident” near the Stockwell Tube station on Tuesday.

Police were declared dead on the spot in Paradise Road after the police were called at around 14:30 GMT.

Police said the inquiry was still going on. No arrests have been made.

People living in this region are surprised by the incident.

Petricia, who has been in Stockwell for 21 years, said: “The situation is really bad now. I don’t go out anymore. At night, I don’t feel safe.

“I feel very bad for the boy. It’s too much for me.”

Florence Ashlomy, Labor (Cum) MP for Vaxhall and Comberwell Green, told BBC London that she wants people to feel safe within their community.

“Stockwell is a vibrant, diverse, close-benta community. We are going to ensure that there is a visible police appearance to assure people,” he said.

‘Looted the future’

The MP said: “We will not tolerate this level of violence anywhere in Stockwell, Vaxhall or Comberwell Green, or all over London.

“This is a sad, meaningless life, this boy could have so much potential. His future has been looted.

“Family and community will continue to mourn, you can never go on this shock.”

London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan said: “This disgusting violence has no place in our city at all.”

Sir Sadiq said: “My views are with family, friends and broad community in Stockwell.”

On Tuesday, Supta Gabriel Cameron said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the young boy in this devastating time.”

He said: “This is a very shocking event that I imagine that there will be a huge crisis for the local community.

“Local officials are collecting CCTV and talking to witnesses what has happened.”

This year, a police cordon and road closure remains after the third murder in the capital of a person below 25 years of age.
