Accused of murder after woman’s death in Plymouth

A person has been accused of killing a woman who was found badly injured on a road in Plymouth.

Paul Butler, 53 -year -old, Stantte Avenue, Plymouth’s Claire Chik’s death has been accused, a nurse and university lecturer.

The 48 -year -old was found seriously injured in West Ho Road on Wednesday and later died in the hospital.

Mr. Butler is scheduled to appear before the Plymouth Magistrate Court on Monday.

Rob Smith, a senior investigating officer of Devon and Cornwal Police, said: “We have an expert officer to provide assistance to Clare’s family.

“Our investigation is on, and I would like to thank the local community for their support, while we have made our inquiry in the last few days.”
