Amad Diallo: Ivory Coast winger signs new Man Utd contract until 2030
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract until June 2030.
The 22-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, although the club had the option to invoke a 12-month extension clause.
But United have opted to offer fresh terms to the Ivory Coast international, who has scored six goals in 27 appearances this season.
Diallo said, “I’m really proud to have signed this new contract. I’ve already had some incredible moments with this club but there’s still a lot more to come.”
“I have big ambitions in the game and I want to make history at Manchester United.
“It has been a difficult season for everyone, but I am confident that we are on the right track and that the future is going to be really special. I look forward to giving everything to help the team and make our supporters proud again.” I am ready for it.”
Diallo joined Manchester United from Italian club Atalanta in 2021 and has scored nine goals in 50 appearances.
“Everyone is pleased with Amad’s development,” said technical director Jason Wilcox.
“His quality on the ball, versatility and determination make him an important part of Manchester United’s future.
“The best years of his career are ahead of him, and we all look forward to helping Amad reach his immense potential and achieve success at the club in the coming seasons.”
