Jones will play Nessa for the last time in a feature-length Gavin and Stacey Christmas Day final episode On BBC One at 21:00 GMT.
Jones said, “I love playing her, I really do.” “I love the history of her life and the work she’s done, which is quite phenomenal.”

“It was quite difficult in the beginning,” he told the BBC.

“I’m still exactly the same as I was when I was 17, so yes. ‘Oh my God, would I play that differently?’ Like a little bit? But then, oh my God, getting to be with the gang, being back on set, having a laugh, and getting back to where we’re all family – it was amazing.
The upcoming finale will see Gavin, Stacey, Smitty and Nessa get back together for the last time – after 2019 christmas special It ended with Jones’ character Nessa proposing to Smithy, played by Corden.
Corden said, “It may sound like complete nonsense, but it really doesn’t feel like we’re in charge of writing it.”
“I think we just have to get together and we open a portal and the characters come in and they tell us what they want everyone to know.”
