Search is on in the Republic of Dominican for missing student Sudi Konanki

Search attempt for a missing university in Pittsburgh that disappeared on a spring break, while entering Dominican Republican in its second week.
20 -year -old Sudi Konanki was last seen on 6 March at a hotel around 04:00 local time.
His disappearance is being investigated as a case of a missing persons as the authorities thought whether Ms. Konanki could have drowned.
The Dominican Republic Attorney General indicated that the investigators are also not playing dishonesty.
Who is the Sudi Konanki?
Ms. Konanki is a 20 -year -old college student who is attending Pittsburgh University, where she studies biology and chemistry.
College Junior traveled with a group of five female friends at a resort at Punta Cana on a spring brake trip, according to the Loudown County Sheriff Office.
He is a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the United States. She is located in Loudown County in Chantili, Virginia with her family.
Where was he last seen?
Ms. Konanki was last seen early in the morning of 6 March.
The monitoring video shows him and a group of friends walking towards the beach.
She was with five women and two American men in the video.
Ms. Konanki stopped at the beach with a man, as others returned to the hotel, the Dominican Police told the BBC news partner CBS.
Dominican President Louis Abinadar said during a news conference earlier this week that a wave was reported by the last person contacting Ms. Konanki when he was on the beach.
Man’s parents – Joshua Reebe – issued a statement to CBS News, who was last seen with Ms. Konanki, he hoped that Ms. Konanki is “found as soon as possible”.
Riibe is a senior at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
“We believe that it is a complex and painful situation for all parties involved, and we believe that the investigation will be conducted with transparency and justice. Our only interest is to respect the fixed process and take action with the impartiality that the situation is required,” the statement said.

What do investigators say?
Officials said they have spent dozens of hours in search of Ms. Konanki.
Dominican Police is dividing the search areas and assigning drones in some areas.
Pilots are monitoring footage that are being uploaded to a command center where AI is trying to identify objects in the sea.
The search driver teams are looking at water and ground.
Officials say it is not clear whether Foul Play was involved in Ms. Konanki’s disappearance.
There was no blood or indication of violence found on the beach.
Pittsburgh University, where Ms. Konanki is a student, said in a statement that he is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Homeland Security and local authorities.

Interpol issues vigilance
The International Criminal Police Organization, known as Interpol, issued a global warning after Ms. Konanki disappeared.
The yellow notice is for missing persons such as kidnapping victims or “unexplained disappearance”.
