SpaceX rocket launched as Buch and Suna.

SpaceX has launched a rocket carrying a new crew at the International Space Station (ISS), which is part of the plan to bring Astronauts Buch Wilmor and Sun. Williams home.
The pair was on the ISS for only eight days, but they came due to technical issues with experimental spacecraft, they have been there for more than nine months.
The astronauts are due to the new crew starting their journey two days after the arrival. Steve Stitch, manager of NASA’s commercial crew program, said he was pleased with this possibility.
“Buch and Suna have done a great job and we are excited to bring them back,” he said.
Astronauts, with their ISS Workmets, NASA’s Nick Hague and Rososmos cosmonot Alexandra Gorbunov, will get relief by four astronauts from Russia, Japan and two from America.
There will be a two -day handover, after which the old crew will be due to starting its journey back on Earth. According to Dana Weigel, the manager of the ISS program, there may be a small and delay, as they wait for the right to be correct for safe re -entry of situations on Earth.
“The weather always has to cooperate, so we will take our time at that time, if it is not favorable,” he told reporters.
Ms. Weigel said that astronauts were getting ready for handover last week.
“Buch rang a formal bell, as Suna handed over the command to Cosmonot Alexei Ovachinin,” he said.

Astronauts have consistently stated that they are happy to ride at the space station, Sun. Williams described it as a “happy place”. But Dr. of Open University Shimon Barber told BBC News that there would probably be a personal cost.
“When you are sent on a work trip that is going to last a week, you are not expecting it to take the best part of a year,” he said.
“This extended migration in space may have disrupted family life, things must have returned home which they may have missed, so there will be a period of turmoil.”
Butch and Suna arrived at the ISS to test an experimental spacecraft at the ISS in early June 2024, called Starlineer, built by aerospace firm Boeing, a rival to SpaceX.
The mission was delayed over the years due to technical issues in the development of the spacecraft, and there were problems during its launch and docking on ISS. This included issues with some thrusters of Starlineer, which would need to slow down the spacecraft for re -entry into the Earth’s atmosphere, and leaks of helium gas in the propulsion system.

NASA decided that it would not take a small risk in bringing Buch and Suni back on Starlineer, when he had the option to return them into SpaceX’s dragon capsules. NASA decided that a scheduled crew was the best option to do so during rotation, even though it would mean to keep astronauts at the space station for several months.
Boeing has constantly argued that it was safe to bring back the Booch and Sun on Starlineer, and instead he was unhappy about the decision to use a rival capsule, which would be “shameful” for Boeing, Dr. According to Barber.
“It’s not a good look for Boeing that they returned to astronauts to a competitor’s craft.”

Both President Trump and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk have said that Buch and Suni can soon be brought into the house Joint interview with Fox News in February,
President Trump says: “They were left in space.”
When the interviewer, Sean Hanniti, said, “They were going to be eight days. They are around 300,” Mr. Trump responds with a word: “Biden.” Mr. Musk claimed: “He was released there for political reasons.”
The claim is denied by NASA’s Steve Stitch.
He said, “We saw a wide range of options and worked hand in hand with SpaceX, to see what was the best thing and when we did all that was the best option, it was what we are starting,” he said.
Supporting that decision Dr. Libbi was performed by Jackson, who heads space at the Science Museum in London and worked in the control center of Europe for ISS.
He said, “Buch and Suni’s goodness must have always been at the forefront of everyone’s mind as the decisions were being made to deal with the circumstances that were presented to them.”
“NASA did those decisions based on good technical reasons, on programmatic reasons, and found the correct solution that has protected Butch and Suna.
“I am really eager to return to the earth, safe and sound with the rest of their crupts.”
