Thousands of Musk’s X platform in America and Britain
Elon Musk’s social media platform X, earlier known as Twitter, experienced a large -scale outage on Monday morning, affecting thousands of users in the US and Britain.
Platform Monitor Dutter, as outage, said it had seen thousands of reports from American users of technical issues affecting the platform.
After a brief but notable increase of the report on Monday morning, there were more than 8,000 outage reports from UK users shortly before 14:00 GMT.
Connection issues went to some users in the afternoon.
During Monday’s outage, many users, who were trying to reach the platform on its app and desktop site and refresh the feed, met with a loading icon.
Musk claims that the outage stems from “large-scale cyber-horses” which originated “in the Ukraine region”. ,
But Technology billionaire, who has been a constant critic of Ukraine and its President Volodimare Zelanski, did not give any evidence to support the claim and did not say that he thought that the state actors were involved or not.
Earlier, he posted on X that “either a large, coordinated group and/or a country”.
The BBC has approached the Ukrainian Embassy at Washington DC for comments.
Musk said in an interview with Fox Business Channel, “We are not sure what happened, but there were a large -scale cyber attacks to bring down and bring down the X system with (Internet protocol) addresses in the Ukraine sector.

A distributed refusal service (DDOS) attack is an attempt to take a website offline by heavy with internet traffic.
