Syrian addition family fled to Lebanon after violence

At least 6,000 Syrians are believed to have crossed the neighboring Lebanon in the last few days to avoid violence in the coastal provinces of Latakia and Tartus.

The region is a stronghold of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and hundreds of citizens have been killed there by the security forces of the new government.
