40 -year -old woman shot dead in Talbot Green
A woman has died after a shooting in Talbot Green at Rondada Sinon TAF.
The South Wales Police was called to the Green Park area of the city at around 18:10 GMT on Sunday.
The force confirmed that a 40 -year -old woman was found with serious injuries and died on the spot.
A 42 -year -old man from Talbot Green has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody.
Several crime scenes have been established in the region as the inquiry continues.
The road closes with the evidence of the authorities.
DET C C insply James Morris said: “I think it will be the cause of concern that this will cause the local community, and I want to assure people that a team of experienced detectives is working at a pace to connect the events of the previous night together.”
Local residents said that emergency services have received a significant response, police vehicles are moving into the area at speed with their blue lights.
A police helicopter reached the Talbot Green at 18:30 pm on Sunday and later revolved the area before returning to the base in St. Ath.
Talbot is a city in 10 miles north-west from Green Cardiff.
Residents have shocked the incident on social media.
Local councilor Sarah Jane Davis said that recent incidents in the region caused “anxiety and alarm in the community”.
