MP’s jail duration is suspended on appeal

MP Mike AIIMSBry, who repeatedly accepted a component in the street, has suspended his 10-week jail sentence after the appeal.
Runcorn and Halesbi MPs attacked 45 -year -old Paul Fellow after a row in Frodasham, Cheshire last year and on Monday sentenced to jail by magistrates.
AIIMSBry, who has removed his labor whip, initiated an appeal and a judge said that while the sentence was “spot on”, it should be suspended.
Judge Steven Aleret, a judge sitting with two magistrates, also ordered AIIMSBry to do a 200 -hour unpaid work, the Chester Crown Court heard.

AIIMSBry should also perform an alcohol monitoring program, go to an anger management course and complete 20 days rehabilitation work.
His sentence still leaves a 55 -year -old man, who now sits as an independent MP, if his constituent withdraws a petition to call for a by -election.
The footage, which was played in the court, showed AIIMSBRE with a punch in the head, so that he knocked on the ground.
Then the politician punched him at least five times and swore him.
AIIMSBry was then heard saying: “Will you not threaten your MP again?”
‘Shout and Shout’
Judge Everett told AIIMSBry that the facts showed him “in really unfavorable light” and, as an MP, he should “show an example”.
He said that he cannot ignore the MP’s “heavy alcohol and fight”.
AIIMSBry arrived in court to hear his appeal in a jail van and wore handcuffs as he was taken to the building.
The court heard that, in a prepared statement made in a police interview, AIIMSBry initially claimed that he had a man “Shouta and Shout” about local and national affairs.
The MP said that because he was nervous and the other man’s “weapons were swinging”, he felt that he had no option but to “defend” himself.
Judge Everett told him that CCTV evidence showed a very different story.
“In fact, you told the police a packet of lies. Nothing, nothing less.”
