Four people took to the hospital after separate accidents

Four people were rushed to the hospital after two separate accidents in Counties Tyrone and Londondere.

Police have said that part of the old Lafri Road in Cookstown and Windhil Road outside Koleren is closed.

The Northern Ireland police service described both incidents as “serious”.

There are variations at both places and the police have asked drivers to escape the area in Koleren.

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) participated in both events.

NIAS said three people were rushed to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Cookstown, which took place at around 16:50 GMT.

One person was rushed to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, one child was taken to Royal Belfast Hospital for sick children and another person was taken to Craigwon Area Hospital.

The two-vehicle collision outside the Coleraine took place at around 15:09 GMT.

NIAS sent a rapid response paramedic, two emergency crews and two ambulance officers for the incident.

Ambulance Control also included Charity Air Ambulance, in which Hems was attended by the team.

One person was taken to Coseway Hospital.
