The TV Chef has said that about 500 cat idols have been stolen from a new Gordon Ramsa restaurant at an estimated cost of more than £ 2,000 a week.

Maneki-Neko idols are considered by some people within Japanese culture that they bring good luck and have been a specialty in lucky cat restaurants.
The restaurant, which serves Asian-inspired food, was opened in 22 bishopsgate, one of the tallest buildings in London earlier this month.

There are two restaurants under the Lucky Cat brand within Ramsay London, of which others are in Mafare, opening in 2019.
The other two places, according to its website, are in Manchester and Miami, Florida.
