Baby Milk Allow Lawlty Point Purchase, Regulatory says

Parents should be allowed to purchase baby milk formula using loyal points and vouchers, the regulator has said after an investigation in the market.

Competition and Market Authority (CMA) stated that price promotion and rebate on formula should be banned, so mothers are not discouraged from breastfeeding.

But people should be allowed to use marks, gift cards and vouchers to get the most for their money, its chief executive told the BBC.

The regulator also stated that the formula should do standardized packaging to packaging in hospitals, as as part of several recommendations designed to improve market work.
