Venezuela frees six American men when Trump messengers meet Maduro

Venezuela has freed six American prisoners after a conversation between President Nicolas Maduro and a senior officer of the Trump administration in Karakas.
The release of men on social media was announced by Donald Trump and his special envoy Richard Granal.
Grenal – who published a picture of six on six on his aircraft online – said he had called President Trump to thank him to thank him.
Earlier, the White House had called Venezuela to leave us “hostage” – as well as agreed to achieve the criminals of Venezuela, exiled by the US – or facial results.
Grenal did not name six men, who were seen wearing light blue clothes used by the Venezuela gel system.
Grenal posted on X, “We are leading the house with these 6 American citizens.”
Trump faced the move in a separate post, saying that Granal was bringing “six hostages home from Venezuela”.
Venezuela state media said the discussion with President Trump’s messenger was honorable.
In January, Karakas announced capturing a group of “mercenaries”, which included American citizens.
Maduro was sworn in for the third term as the chairman of Venezuela last month, six months after the disputed election, the opposition and the international community say he lost.
The official results of the July 2024 election have been widely rejected by the international community including the US.
Grenal’s visit did not mean that the US recognition of Maduro as a legitimate leader of Venezuela, the press secretary of the White House, Karolin Lewet.
