Lewis Hamilton drives a Ferrari Formula 1 car for the first time

Lewis Hamilton is getting his first taste of a Ferrari Formula 1 car at the team’s Fiorano test track.
The 40-year-old seven-time champion is testing the 2023 car as part of optimization work with his new team.
Their testing followed two days of work at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, of which the Fiorano track is a part.
Ferrari will release more details about Hamilton’s run later on Wednesday.
Hamilton will be limited to a total of 1,000 km (621 mi), known as testing for previous cars running according to F1 rules.
The testing would help him learn the way the Ferrari engines operate and allow him to build trust and working practices with his new race engineer Riccardo Adami and the rest of the team.
Adami had worked with Carlos Sainz and before that four-time champion Sebastian Vettel for the past four years.
