Man was drinking before falling down lift shaft – police
A British tourist trapped in a lift shaft at a Turkish hotel has died after falling from the first floor “under the influence of alcohol”, police said.

“My brother is 100% killed,” Mr Reid said earlier. “I want to see justice for my boy.
“I feel so bad sitting here thinking about all the things that could have happened to him.
“My family and I cannot afford to just be left in the dark. We need to know now.”
Family said earlier He was found “flat on his face” with only a pair of boxers and socks.
A spokesperson for the hotel said that staff were supporting the family, but were unable to comment further due to the police investigation.
