MahaKumbh 2025: The world’s largest religious event Mahakumbh 2025 has started in Prayagraj. On Monday, on the occasion of Paush Purnima, lakhs of devotees took bath in Triveni Sangam. According to reports, about 40 lakh people from all over the world including India have reached Prayagraj today for bathing. It is estimated that 45 crore people will come to this fair. The 45 day long Mahakumbh will end on 26th February. To make such a big event a success, the security arrangements are tight. Many arrangements have been made by the government.

According to the report, Uttar Pradesh Police has made heavy security arrangements in Mahakumbh. Underwater drones have been deployed in the fair. According to the Culture Ministry, underwater drones capable of diving up to 100 meters have been deployed across the city for round-the-clock surveillance in the Sangam area. Apart from this, drones flying up to 120 meters height have been deployed so that every area can be monitored.

Apart from this, around 2700 cameras equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities are doing real time monitoring in the fair area. Facial recognition technology is also being used at entry points with the help of cameras. Apart from this, a team of 56 cyber warriors has been formed, which will keep an eye on cases related to online fraud. Cyber ​​help desks have been set up in all the police stations of the city.
