1,000 electric scooters of Ola Electric will be used for transportation in Mahakumbh.

Bhavish Aggarwal, founder of the company, said, “Maha Kumbh is a glimpse of the rich traditions of India. We have tried to provide smart and environment-friendly mobility solutions.” Around 40 crore people are expected to attend Mahakumbh. Ola has also launched Kumbh Sah’AI’yak app to offer technology-related mobility solutions in this huge religious event. This app serves as a navigation and information platform. It contains information about the history and attractions of Kumbh Mela.
This app is available in many Indian languages. It also has integrated measures to ensure data security and prevent the spread of misinformation. Additionally, Ola Consumer has also launched services like electric vehicle (EV) shuttles, affordable cab rentals as well as multiple transit options at the airport and railway stations to ease travel in Prayagraj.
In the first fortnight of January, Ola Electric is at third position in the segment of electric two-wheelers. According to vehicle portal data, the company has sold around 6,655 units in the first fortnight of this month. This is equivalent to 18 percent market share. At the beginning of last year, Ola Electric’s market share was more than 50 percent. Bajaj Auto and TVS Motor have left Ola Electric behind in this segment. These two companies together have a market share of 48 percent. The market share of Ather Energy has increased to 14.2 percent. Ola Electric is facing trouble due to a large number of complaints from customers regarding service deficiencies. To deal with this, the company has increased the number of its stores four times.
